We celebrated International Talk Like a Pirate Day last Saturday. It has become somewhat of an annual tradition for our good friends (Doug and Janelle) to host a Pirate Party on or near September 19.
You can wear pirate attire or landlubber clothing. After the second year the kids asked for costumes. 
So last year we put together some costumes and fortunately they still fit everyone this year.
Jeff and I finally succumbed to peer pressure and attempted to dress up in pirate garb. All black and a raiders cap were as far as Jeff would go. I attempted the whole Caribbean look but didn't realize until later that I look like I have a huge third eye on the top of my head.
The party was a blast...great food, good friends, good grog and good fun.
